Cult horror comedy movie 'The Lost Boys' is being made into a TV series

A small screen adaptation of cult vampire movie The Lost Boys is in the works.

Veronica Mars and iZombie creator Rob Thomas will steer the series based on the classic 1987 horror comedy starring Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman.

Deadline reports that the teen-centric network behind the series, The CW, is hoping it will eventually become a seven-season American Horror Story-style anthology.

Each season will unfold over the course of a decade, with the setting and human characters changing each season, but the ageless vampire boys remaining the same. Season one will take place in San Francisco during the 1967 Summer of Love. via NME
