David Bowie film ‘Absolute Beginners’ reissued for 30th anniversary

A film starring David Bowie is to be reissued on July 25 for its 30th anniversary.

Absolute Beginners stars Bowie as advertising executive Vendice Partners in a drama about the race riots in Notting Hill in 1958. Bowie was one of a number of singers acting in the film, alongside Ray Davies as Father, future Game Of Thrones actor Edward Tudor-Pole as Ed The Ted and soul singer Sade as Athene. NME
